Business has been a big part of my life, but it’s certainly not the whole story.
I’ve spent decades learning, building, changing, writing, creating and collecting stories along the way. Some became books. Some became conversations. And some are still being written.

Some stories need more than a conversation.
I’ve always believed our experiences are meant to teach us something, and sometimes, they become stories worth sharing.
My books come from very different chapters of my life, but both are deeply personal: one confronts something that should never have happened, while the other celebrates a life built by showing up, speaking up and refusing to let “no” have the final word.

I wrote The Art of the Grift to help families recognize the clues, understand the manipulation and gaslighting that can take place, and know whn it may be time to intervene.

My story has been told in many ways.
This time, it became a film.
The Legacy of a Butterfly explores my life, the experiences that shaped me and the idea that our story doesn't stop simple because one chapter has ended.
In 2026, the film was recognized with the Devon Bolton Memorial Alberta Short Film Award at CIFF.

Diana believes that creating opportunity for one person can have an impact far beyond a single moment.
Through the Dr. Diana Monea Butterfly Effect Scholarship, she is helping create opportunities for young women to pursue post-secondary education and build what comes next. Diana also supports Not In My City and its work to help end human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
